I had the honor to visit and guest teach the elementary and kindergarten students at Pilgrim School in downtown Los Angeles.
Kids were so creative, full of curiosities and eager to learn. However I was not formally trained as a teacher when I was in school, so I was very grateful to have other teachers assisting me during the class. I was very impressed by the teachers expert communication and listening skill, also their passion to teach children. I’ve learned so much from them from this experience.
Pilgrim school is also situated by the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles. The stained glass windows were built by Judson Studios during the late 1920s. The stained glass studio is also where I work for my day-job the past 9 years. Although I’m religious I still felt special when visited the church.
D-Con
November was a very busy month. My first convention booth experience at Designer-con was a blast!
In the past I only had few hours to meet people on opening night at my show. The convention gave me a chance to meet more of my followers and supporters. Thank you for making a trip to my booth, it was so nice to meet you all!
Having a booth was a lot more work than I thought. My back was in complete agony after standing two and half days and leaning over to speak to customers. It made me appreciate all the vendors and artists that having a booth every year. Thanks for the help from my sister Candice and my buddy Aaron, you’re awesome!
Many people were confused when they walked passed my booth, then realized they were looking at my sculptures. I was guilty of making many of you hungry. Sorry, no food served here, my apology.
Oyoysters are now available online at my shop. please take a look! SHOP

Oysters - Work in Progress
A month ago I was making some oyster sculptures for a food themed group exhibition “Let’s Eat” at GR2.
The responses were very positive. The whole dozen of them sold out very quickly.
So I’ve decided to enter DesignerCon for the first time, and turn my booth into an Oyster Bar.
D-Con is located at Anaheim Convention Center. It’s a 3 days event with 700 vendors and 300+ artists. November 22 - 24
Here are some work in progress images to share with you.
